Electric Bear Brewing Co
The name comes from the old Bear Brewery that used to stand on the corner of the Wellsway. Electric derives from how they power the brewhouse kettle (AKA the ‘copper’.) That original brewery is now gone – the victim of a WWII bombing raid in April ‘42. But they are Electric Bear. Brewing there is back – bigger and better than ever. The desire to make things sits deep within them all, and homebrewers are particularly passionate artisans. They also think that great kit gives you the best chance to make great beer. So Electric Bear Brewing Co. was born from the dream of escaping the garage, increasing capacity and building a brand-new brewery creating great, innovative, delicious, modern beer that delivers on that ‘glad to be alive’ vibe.
